Chef Rosebud was hired to host “Quickfire” right out of “Ka-Toque”, another QTV-11 show. When I was still with “Ka-toque' I’ve always hoped. I’m always like that. I hope that somebody would recognize your skill as a host and as a chef. So “Quickfire” really came as a surprise. I even consulted everyone what they thought of it," she replied. Compared to "Katoque" Chef Rosebud looks "Quickfire" as more challenging because she is all alone and without the "barkada-chef." Chef Rosebud will do a step-by-step demo of how the dish is prepared and cooked. "Quickfire" will be aired in three 10-minute recipe capsules before "Balitanghali," before "Moms" and before "Sweet Life" in the evenings which will give QTV-11 audience three new mouth watering and delicious recipes every day from Monday to Friday. On weekends, "Quickfire" will air only once, at 9pm. " In each 10-minute recipe, the beautiful Rosebud will do a step-by-step demo of how the dish is prepared and cooked. Benitez is joined by celebrities who give her a situation that she has to give a 10-minute solution. Chef Rosebud passion with food began when she was a nine-year-old girl who would sell cookies and macaroons to her friends and classmates for some extra pocket money.
